On Friday 10th December we had a relaxed evening of mulled wine and mince pies at the 1in12 club, Bradford, to raise some money for TIA Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue.
Protests against companies accused of dodging taxes took place across the UK today, with protestors in Kendal, Cumbria targeting Topshop and Vodafone. The group were met with swift action by shopping centre security guards, furious that anyone would dare to hand out leaflets to shoppers. Violent removal followed.

David Cameron came to Leeds and was welcomed by around 100 protesters. Just noon he drove into the Shine buisniess centre on Harehills Road to give a talk after being greeted with eggs, boos and graffiti from the night before. Undercover police were deployed but the protest was low key and they never sprang into action.
