Pedal MCR Bicycle Community Centre

Pedal MCR shall shortly be opening a bicycle community centre in Manchester where people can socialise and learn new skills.

Pedal MCR is a bike community centre about to open at Platt Chapel in Fallowfield in Manchester. We shall be turning the 16th Century chapel into a hub for bicyclists.

A space where you can:

* learn how to fix your bike

* use tools

* earn bikes in return for volunteering

* get an inexpensive hearty vegan dinner

* relax and meet other cyclists

* learn new skills

* put on workshops + meetings

* borrow books, videos etc

and much more!

Please give whatever you can, we know these are hard times but that's why the space will be essential.

if you can organise a fundraising event/bakesale/sponsored bike ride... please help in whatever way you can..

The money shall be used to pay our first months rent on the space.

Obviously the more we get the better for the project any more we raise can go towards wood for the workstand and any extra furniture and cafe equipment we can't find for free

Also if you have any furniture or equipment or bikes that you don't use they would be very gratefully received. 

We are also looking for an electrician to help us safely put in some lights.
