Manchester Demonstrators Rage at Government Cuts.

Around 500 demonstrators took to Manchesters streets on Saturday 23rd October to protest against the Tory Coalition Governments cuts.

Despite the rain the large crowd rallied outside the BBC offices in Oxford Road before marching through the city centre to a mass meeting at the Cathedral Gardens.

Sir Gerald Kaufman and Karen Reissman were amongst speakers who spoke passionately to an enthusiastic gathering, slamming the Goverment for what are seen by many to be obscene and evil cuts specifically designed to harm the nations poorest and most vunerable people.
