As Britain is suffering from a recession created by greedy bankers and financiers, all the major political parties are trying to push the burden on to the working class with programs of public spending cuts and welfare "reforms". These include cuts in the NHS, loss of public sector jobs as well as forcing people to work for benefits, the abolition of Disability Allowance and forcing single parents into work.

We mustn't allow politicians to use the recession to make attacks on working class living standards.

We didn't make this mess - why should we suffer for it? Come along to our public meeting to discuss what can be done to stop politicians taking a hatchet to the welfare system.
