Citizen Weapons Inspectors visit Manchester factor

At just before 8 o'clock on Monday 5th October, several citizen weapons inspectors from the Target Brimar campaign visited the Chadderton premises of military component manufacturer Brimar.[1] They were seeking information on possible connections between Brimar's products and human rights abuses committed in Gaza and the West Bank, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Saturday 26th September 2009. Around 150 demonstrators held a peaceful protest at Highgate Farm, Lincolnshire.

Operation Liberation Demo at Highgate Rabbit Farm

350 people are demonstrating outside Highgate Rabbit Farm in Lincolnshire, a supplier of rabbits to the vivisection company Huntingdon Life Sciences. Attendees have hailed the event as a success, bringing the attention of local people to the farms immoral practices.

The historic Odeon building in Bradford city centre is under threat once more after a planning application to completely demolish the building has been submitted to Bradford Council by Yorkshire Forward and Langtree Artisan.
