IMC Northern England

Northern Indymedia now has it's own internet radio station which will be broadcasting content around the clock. We'd like to invite any groups in the north of England to upload their own radio shows in either mp3 or ogg format and we'll add them to the playlist! Whether it be your ramblings on the state of "The State" or playlists of local bands who are active in the area, we want you to be heard. BE THE MEDIA!

To get the radio station started off we have added the latest shows from our friends over at Dissident Island (London) and RiseUp radio (Nottingham) in the hope that it will inspire all you Northernites to get your own stuff out there. We have an IMC Northern radio project in the pipeline, which we will be discussing at our upcoming meetings and on our mailing list, so feel free to join in with what we are doing if you don't want to go it alone.

To listen to the station, you will need to go to http://radio.northern-indymedia.org/radionorthern.m3u and open the link in your chosen media player. For this, we recommend either the multitalented VLC or Miro.

We will add more to the player once we get some more content but in the meantime we hope you enjoy the sounds of dissent from our friends.
