Meeting at 12pm in Infirmary fields at the top of Lumb Lane and Westgate the crowd continued to grow until it reached nearly 1200 people at 12.30pm when a march was lead through the city centre. At the front of the march were 2 coffins, representing not only the people killed in the recent Israeli troop attacks on ships carrying aid to Palestine, but also those who are killed in Palestine everyday. This huge response comes after the immediate reactions on Monday with a protest held in Centenary Sqaure, and Tuesday when a rally of over 100 people took place at the Cenotaph.

There were also protests held all over the country this week in Sheffield, Birmingham, Cambridge, Bristol and London to name some of them.

The march was a loud one with much chanting as it snaked through the streets of shops. The journey ended back at Infirmary Fields where many people spoke about how people can support and solidarty with the Palestinian people. Speakers encouraged a boycott of Israeli produce and also of those conpanies which support Israel, such as Coca-Cola and Starbucks. A campaign to particulary focus on the elimination of Israeli dates being consumed during religious events in the local Bradford community was launched. Scroll down to listen to an audio recording from the protest.
