Haworth Fairtrade Group have a reputation for putting on a 'good do' !
Who can forget, 'Chocolat' with Joanne Harris and the cocoa farmers from Ghana, John and Yoko in the Peace Bed, Mikron Theatre with 'Reaping the Benefits' and the wonderful 'Chuffin Fair' in the engine shed of the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway.
Fair Intents is a much more ambitious project but we are a dedicated and enthusiastic bunch and have a huge amount of support. An Ecofair is just what Haworth has needed and our close relationship with the Bronte Parsonage has given us the opportunity to stage what will be an educational, informative and fun event for everyone.
This is The Fairtrade Group's participation in the Haworth Arts Festival which runs from Thursday 9th September to Sunday 12th. Check out all the other venues in the Village.

The Parsonage was the home of Patrick Bronte and his family, sisters Emily, Charlotte and Anne and brother Branwell. Patrick was instrumental in improving education and bringing sanitation to Haworth which was life changing for the whole community. The sisters were forward thinking and independent, if Fairtrade had been a concept then, they might well have been at the forefront of the movement. We think they would have approved of Fair Intents. The meadow entrance is at the side of the Bronte Parsonage We urge you to consider coming by alternative transport or car share

Keighley and Worth Valley Railway is running at weekends and is a lovely experience and an appropriate way to arrive in Haworth.
