Voices for Peace

An event organised by Bradford Women for Peace

Friday 27th August 11am-1pm

Women from Bradford's diverse communities have come together in solidarity and unity
to spread the message of peace and unity as an antidote to the EDL message of hate.

As a mark of our strength and resilience we are inviting women to stand alongside us
to create a web of solidarity and plant messages of unity on the symbolic Tree of
Peace.

Bradford Women for Peace has adopted the colour lime green to symbolise hope,
renewal, nurturing and peace. By owning the colour green, we are sending the
strongest possible message to the EDL that we reject their anti-Islam message.
