A rare northern date from veteran folk/protest singer-songwriter Leon Rosselson. Best known amongst activists for 'The World Turned Upside Down', Rosselson came to prominence singing satirical songs on 60s TV programme That Was The Week That Was. He remains involved in a range of radical politics, including Palestine solidarity. At this Manchester Peace Festival event Rosselson will be supported by local names Claire Mooney and Aidan Jolly, and up-and-coming Manc folk-punk singer Al Baker. All proceeds to Greater Manchester & District CND. Ticket details for this concert and information on the many other events taking part during the week-long Peace Festival can be found here.
