After the amazing Bradford Zine Fayre 2010 we'll head to the legendary 1in12 Club for food and music.
Treehouse Cafe will be providing some excellent grub to fill you up. Meanwhile the 1in12 Club bar will be providing the cheap local booze from the likes of Sam Smith's Brewery. There's an ace line-up in store with musical delights from;
Violet Violet - "thunderous and inventive drumming, jagged guitar and pitch-perfect harmonising" from Norwich Alt-popsters Violet Violet. This band have been getting some very good noises out of the hot shots in the big bad world of music. They'll be supported by...
Lost From Atlas - Alternative, slightly math-y, post-rock, dare I say it, 'prog', sounds will be eminating from this local Leeds/York band.
Numm Tongues - Bradford musical sweethearts bash out all the musical sounds you would not associate with hte word 'sweetheart.
The Flaps - This is their first ever gig, it's going to be messy, cheesy, terrible, yet brilliant. We hope.
Fanny Accordion and Heavy D - Traditional folk on guitar and accordion, storytelling is better with instruments.
It'll all kick off about 7.30pm on the gig floor, with food on the top cafe floor beforehand. There will also be folk who can show you the new arabic printing press and the 1in12 Zine library (it's small, but mighty) Entrance £2 members/£3 guests. This event is open to members and guests of the 1in12 Club.
