Sharyn Lock will be reading from her book "Gaza: Beneath the Bombs" about the time she spent in Gaza during "Operation Cast Lead" during 2009. There will be a benefit cake/snack cafe too.
The Cafe will be open from 7.30pm, the talk will start at 8pm

Sharyn went to Gaza with the Free Gaza Movement, thinking the greatest danger she faced was making it past the Israeli sea blockade in a fishing boat, but soon after her arrival Israel attacked Gaza's 1.5 million inhabitants by land, air and sea. With others from the International Solidarity Movement, Sharyn volunteered with Palestinian ambulances, assisting them as they faced overwhelming civilian casualties.
