SEE THE FUTURE - New Years at the Playhouse 

 New Years Eve at the Playhouse is going to be a celebration of all things futuristic! Visions of the future, from travelling at the speed of light, to raising the undead zombie apocalypse, or seeing life in the 80s - the 2080s - will be appearing throughout our building's many spaces.  Forget the over-crammed, over-priced venues and give the Playhouse a try for a New Year to remember...

1 Hour per Decade – Bring clothes for each if you want to really get into the spirit of things.
Playhouse costume department will be there to help.

6pm – 50’s rockabilly, jive, pre-punk and the rest from Playhouse Legend – ELEANOR BARRETT

7pm – 60’s Northern Soul, psyche and garage from BCB’s own walking summer of love- ALBERT FREEMAN

8pm – 70’s Glam, Punk, Heavy Metal and Reggae from the mysterious, wondrous DJ DADS. (Yes. It is our dads. They are the word on 70s.)

9pm – 80’s Electro, Synth-Pop, Riot GRRRRL and Hip Hop from WILLY NILLY.

10pm – 90’s Trance, Rap, Grunge and House from BILO and JT.

11pm – 00’s the best music of this decade, from the NO HANDS crew.

12pm – HUGE COUNTDOWN – BALLOONS – MASS EURPHORIA – TIN FOIL

1am till whenever – FUTURE MUSIC From OUTLIVE LIVE / DR SPONG dubstepfutureworldfunkdankdiscoglitchyupbeats

Plus themed visuals / snacks through the night.

Cheap local booze.

Many other surprises up our sleeve.
