Volunteers are at the heart of the Forest of Bradford, the project did, in fact, start out as a volunteer project in 1992. Since the project began we've planted 330,000 trees and volunteers have made a huge contribution towards this.
We provide the spades and trees and there's experienced staff on hand to lead the day. So get involved, join the other volunteers, make your mark, MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
All planting scheme sites will be signposted, but a location map is available on request from the number shown below.
Minibus transport is available for volunteers at 9.15am from the BEAT office, 140-148 Manningham Lane, Bradford, BD8 7JJ. Please book this service in advance. Tel 01274 253440 and speak to Ian Butterfield.
Plenty of parking available.
Bring a packed lunch & warm, waterproof clothing!
