A vegan Meal by the Cafe Collective* accompanied by Short Films and a Talk on the 1999 WTO protest at Seattle and how this relates to the mass mobilisations happening in Copenhagen next month. Followed by a nice game of Activist Bingo.

£4 all proceeds go to help people from the Uk get to Copehagen for the COP15 mass actions!

The Cafe Collective is a goup of us that have been planning the re-use of The Common Place Cafe. We want to cook affordable, wholesome, and vegan food that people can enjoy whilst chatting to friends/making new ones, or learning some interesting stuff from intersting people, or bopping to some tunes, or leafing through some books etc.. And anyone can can join in, we love sharing the skills and love for all things DIY. We will be opening once a week after December, so watch this space www.thecommonplace.org.uk !
