Join hundreds of young people to get informed, learn skills and share ideas to tackle the problems facing our generation.
Now is our moment to make a change. This is your chance to come together with young people from all over the UK. Learn skills, find positive solutions and hold our leaders to account for a just and sustainable future for our generation.
Shared Planet is a weekend event full of inspiring speakers, practical and informative workshops, debates, films, stalls and fun.
What is Shared Planet?The UK’s largest student conference on world poverty, human rights and the environment. It’s one weekend packed full of inspiring speakers, practical and informative workshops, debates, films, stalls and fun.
Shared Planet is open to all young people and students over 16 who want to find out about the worlds big problems and share the solutions. This year the event will be held at the University of Manchester and it’s totally doable on a student budget.

You can expect to:- Gain skills – Take part in practical workshops and learn skills for a just and low carbon future.
- Get creative - Learn creative ways to campaign using art, drama and poetry.
- Challenge - Hear from top MPs from all parties and quiz them on rebuilding our economy, our climate and our future.
- Take action – Make your voice heard in a massive campaign action.
- Meet others – Make links and share ideas with young people like you.
- …And party – Dance to live bands and DJs and make friends at the Shared Planet party.
