Taking its cue from a blog post by BBC Newsnight economics editor Paul Mason (http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/newsnight/paulmason/2011/02/twenty_reasons_why_its_kicking.html), the essays in this new book seek to explore the role of 'the graduate with no future', the 'digital native' or the 'remainder of capital' within the 2010 student unrest and the 'Arab Spring'.
Exactly one year after the 'March for the Alternative' in London, and the window smashing at the Ritz Hotel, we will come back together to discuss perspectives on the anti-austerity struggle in the UK and beyond.
Come at 5.30! Books will be for sale and the cafe will be open for food and drink.
6.00-7.00 Talk and discussion with Ben and Raph (two of the book's authors) and Sarah Kerton (UMSU Postgraduate Officer)
from 7.00 Drinks in nearby Sandbar
