Anti-fur activism in Norway

Date Event date: August 25, 2011 19:00

Tagged as: animal_liberation

An activist from the Norwegian animal rights group Nettverk For Dyrs Frihet (Network For Animals' Freedom) will be presenting short films about the group's undercover investigations into the country's fox and mink farms. We'll be starting at 7pm in the Rutland Arms at 86 Brown Street (near to the Showroom Cinema and the railway station). Newcomers are especially welcome!
The talk will address the practicalities of collecting undercover footage, strategies for disseminating the results and working with the media, and the relationship between undercover investigations and the wider struggle for animal liberation. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to discuss what lessons can be learnt from the Norwegian experience.

There will be cheap vegan food available to buy.
