Come and find out more about how and why millions of people ("los indignados" - the indignants) in Spain have taken to the streets and occupied public squares since 15 May (15-M) this year, holding public assemblies to demand and create real democracy. While the British media has mainly focused on the squatted squares in Madrid and Barcelona, dozens of cities and towns up and down the country have hosted popular assemblies that have lasted for weeks, some turning into neighbourhood committees taking decisions about local issues. They have denounced the greed and corruption of both the state and the banks. Now they are asking for a global revolution to start on the 15th of October.
Two people that have been involved in the 15M movement in Spain will provide their reflections and analysis of the struggle so far.
