A new monthly event on the LAST Saturday of every month... Means to an End... brings you lovely grub at the 1in12 Club.

Each month we aim to bring you different events to coincide with the Cafe. A poetry Reading Group called READ ALOUD is an idea to stimulate and encourage the spoken word.

Bring along some poetry to read out loud, or flick through the sample of books on offer and choose to read a poem or two. Poetry is completely different when read aloud.

The aim is to have some proper poets turn up, run writing grous, gain inspiration, produce zines etc. Our imagination is endless!

The initial reading planned to begin at 4pm

Come along, enjoy some food, sit back and relax and share!

Menu for Saturday May 28:

Starters:

Polish Potato Soup

Main:

Leek and Spinach Banitsa with carrot and chickpea salad

Desert:

(Hopefully a selection of all, or some, of the following)
Tofu Cheesecake
Cake
Poppy Seed and Almond Roll

The 1in12 Club is a Members Club. Guests entering the building are at the behest of a Member to sign them in. To join is cheap and well worth it. Please do so!
