News From Nowhere Bookshop & Nerve Magazine present hosting an alternative to the Parasite Wedding in the form of a Ranters' Corner outside the bookshop. Soapbox will be provided. Each rant subject to a 5-minute time limit. In case of offence, rotten tomatoes will be available from the Fruit & Veg stall in Ropewalks Square. All welcome to have a rant! Come & vent that spleen!
2 till 5 - Liverpool's Republican Street Party
After Liverpool's proud demonstration of really not caring for Wills and Kate (second only to Glasgow in our refusal to engage in royalist celebrations), come to Bold Street on Friday for a proper people's party.
Dress code: Roundheads and Royals
Bring blankets, a bottle and something for the picnic.
