Planning Meeting

Just to let you know there'll be a planning meeting for this event at Bradford Resource Centre, Chapel Street, at 6.00 on Wednesday 20th April.

Lots of stuff is in place but we still need various kinds of stewards, first aiders, stage hands to help load in and out the solar powered PA (it's massive), carry the beer and help deal with the empties, and probably some litter pickers.

Also there's room for stalls so if none of the above appeals come along and plug your favourite cause.

Planning Meeting: BRC Wednesday 27th April 6.00 p.m.

Event: Mayday 2011 - Sunday May 1st 11.00 onwards

Hey, there's still time to get involved and make this the kind of Mayday you want it to be. Lots of infrastructure tedium has been done, artistes are being lined up for the two stages, and the much sought-after litter-picking vacancies have mostly been filled.

But there's still room for the tricyling stilt-walking bloc to stake a claim on a chunk of the ever-growing event, and we desperately need an MC to make the world's largest Monopoly* game go with a swing.

*legal notice: resembles a popular board game called "Monopoly", except 40 feet square and not actually infringing any significant patents or copyrights, m'lud.
