"We're standing 21 miles from the British coast. On a clear day you can see it. They feel they are close to their dream of reaching England"
-French Refugee Aid Worker
With the growing humanitarian crisis concerning destitute migrants in Calais, iceandfire adds a new play to our series of documentary scripts, this time focusing on the European dimension of immigration and asylum. On a Clear Day You Can See Dover weaves together testimonies gathered from interviews with migrants who have come to Calais from all over the world and are seeking to enter the UK and the French people who have supported them.
Hosted by Bradford Action for Refugees, BEACON, BIASAN, Bradford Refugee Forum, British Red Cross, City of Sanctuary Bradford, Forster Community College,Horton Housing, Northern Refugee Centre, Raise the Roof, Sharing Voices,Student Action for Refugees, West Yorkshire Police.
