Indymedia is a network of individuals, independent and alternative media activists and organisations, offering grassroots, non-corporate, non-commercial coverage of important social and political issues. This workshop will introduce Northern Indymedia and look at why secure/independant media is important and how to use the internet securely(ish). It will also look at different ways of getting your media out there, including audio reports and zines.
