Leeds March Against Education Cuts

Join us on the march from Parkinson Building (University of Leeds )at 12.30pm to the Art Gallery, Victoria Gardens in Leeds City Centre for a protest from 1.00pm to 2.00pm.

Places:

Leeds Student Union is backing a student walkout against rising tuition fees and education cuts on Wednesday 24th November.

Students will be walking out of lectures as part of a national day of action, in protest towards the government's plans to treble tuition fees and at the same time cut higher education spending by 80%.

At 11am student will walk out of lectures. At 12:30pm we will march from Parkinson Steps past Leeds Met and other colleges from Leeds, to unite students across Leeds, to a protest outside the Art Gallery. Where we will be joined by school students on strike!

After the demonstration we will be heading back up the the University of Leeds to join the 'Reimagine the University' event: www.reallyopnuniversity.org
