Biffa are doing a consultation to the members of the East Leeds Inner Area committee. Members of the public are allowed to attend these meetings and it is important that if you can you are there for this one.

In the attached papers they call it an Energy from Waste plant, but it is an incinerator they have no use for the energy they are going to produce from burning 360,000tonnes of waste per year but they are going to burn it anyway.

If we lose this argument we lose both since it will be the green light for incineration as the best way to deal with the problem of waste for Leeds.
