Early this morning all over town green ribbons were still on display as a reminder of yesterday's event "Women for Peace".

Meanwhile, opposite the EDL holding pen set up on the (temporary) Urban Garden [2] [3], a sign declaring "Bradford For Peace" has been erected on the Midland Hotel.

Up at Infirmary Fields, scene of the "Bradford - Peaceful Together" [4] gathering, more green ribbons and messages of hope are attached to a peace tree.

In town, police from Durham, Cleveland and Kirklees combine their motive power and CO2 footprint to create a massive gridlock around the town hall as they contend for parking spots.
