Yesterday morning, West Yorkshire Police raided two houses of animal rights campaigners in Leeds following alledged offences in connection with fur-shop Next One Leather.

Two arrests were made and those were bailed in connection with an alledged Criminal Damage, the only basis for their arrests being that they attended protests outside Next One Leather.

According to the police, the words "Fur Scum" were spraypainted on the home of the shop's owner, some kind of corrosive liquid poured over his vehicle and its tires punctured.

Those arrested have pleaded their innocence and have stated that they were at no point involved in this and the only 'evidence' presented to them was that they attended a peaceful demonstration about the fur trade at the Next One Leather shop.

Only a summary has been released for legal reasons and, until further notice, this is all that is being published.
