We are anti-capitalist. Capitalism is for the benefit of the few; the global corporations & the banks. Capitalism makes them very rich & powerful & it exploits & represses the rest of us. It causes untold misery to billions of people. Every so often capitalism starts to self-destruct & when this happens things get even worse for us & we lose our jobs, our benefits & the services we rely on are cut. We don’t want to make capitalism a bit nicer; we want to see capitalism destroyed & replaced with something better.  What do we put in its place? Anarchists are opposed to societies which give power & control to a few people at the top & leave the majority of people at the bottom powerless. Everyone should get an equal say in discussing, planning & working together for the benefit of all. There are no quick or easy answers & we don't think it is up to anarchists to dictate what will happen, it’s up to YOU.  North East Anarchist Group is a collection of people from across our region who have decided to work together to create an effective anarchist presence in the area.
